AIR MONITORING

Air pollution is a serious challenge, especially for urban residents. Although there is currently no effective strategy to address the issue, protecting people and the planet from the harmful impacts of air pollution begins with reliable and effective air quality data. Countries with a responsible approach to sustainable development, through the provision of clean air for their citizens have deployed many affordable air quality-monitoring systems to create a real-time virtual network, obtaining reliable air quality data and contributing to public monitoring goals. Above all, these measures are important steps of civic responsibility that will help increase engagement, build trust, and expand public outreach and education initiatives.

Doscredobank is participating in the environmental organization MoveGreen's project https://movegreen.kg to deploy a network of real-time civic air monitoring sensors. Using wireless communication, the stations transmit real-time air quality data to a website - https://aq.kg

Reliable information about air quality can be obtained from anywhere in the world on the World Air Quality Index website - https://waqi.info through sensors installed in the offices of Doscredobank.

Thanks to the cooperation of Doscredobank and the environmental organization MoveGreen, all concerned citizens have the opportunity to monitor air quality at any convenient time, through the sensors placed at the offices of Doscredobank around the country. In addition, the environmental services are able to respond immediately to harmful emissions.

Information on air quality is shown on 3-5 parameters, namely the concentration in the air of the most harmful pollutants: nitrogen dioxide (NO2) as a yellow-brown gas with a caustic odor, which blocks the breathways and suspended particles PM1, PM10 and PM2.5 - air pollutants, which includes solid microparticles and tiny droplets of liquid.
