(Environmental, Social, and Governance, ESG) is a set of characteristics of company
management, which achieves the involvement of this company in the solution of
environmental, social and management issues.
ESG is a set of company standards that socially conscious investors use to screen
potential investments. Environmental criteria consider how a company safeguards the
environment. Social criteria examine how it manages relationships with employees,
suppliers, customers and communities. Governance deals with a company’s leadership,
executive pay, audits, internal controls and shareholder rights.
