OJSC Dos-Credobank Expands Simbank Capabilities: QR Code Payments Now Available in Uzbekistan

OJSC Dos-Credobank, in partnership with HAYOT BANK JSC, has launched cross-border QR code payments between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Customers can now pay for purchases in Uzbekistan using Simbank, the mobile service of OJSC Dos-Credobank.

The service is already available at more than 140,000 retail and service locations across Uzbekistan, with the network continuing to expand.

The new service allows customers to make purchases in a simple and familiar way — by opening Simbank and scanning a HAYOT BANK JSC QR code. Payments are made without commission: the purchase amount is displayed in Uzbek soums (UZS), while the corresponding amount is debited in Kyrgyz soms (KGS) at the applicable exchange rate.

The launch of cross-border QR payments marks another step in OJSC Dos-Credobank’s continued development of modern digital services and expansion of opportunities for its customers.
