“Dos-Credobank” OJSC Warns: Beware of Fraudsters

“Dos-Credobank” OJSC informs its clients and the public about an increase in fraud cases in which criminals pose as bank employees, representatives of government authorities, or acquaintances in order to gain access to funds and personal data.

The Bank urges everyone to remain especially vigilant and to follow basic financial security rules. Fraudsters often apply pressure and create a sense of urgency, using phrases such as “urgent,” “immediately,” or “right now” to provoke panic and lower vigilance. Please note that phone numbers, messenger accounts, and social media profiles can be spoofed; therefore, any information should be carefully verified.

Government authorities and banks never request passport details, PIN codes, CVV codes, SMS confirmation codes, or other confidential information. It is also not recommended to click on suspicious links, even if a message appears to come from a familiar contact.

If there is any doubt, it is important to pause and verify the information additionally. A simple pause can help prevent financial losses.

“Dos-Credobank” OJSC advocates for informed financial security and calls on clients to take good care of their personal data and funds.

Take care of yourself and your finances.
