Within the initiative “Your Charge” for Ecology: Dos-Credobank Recycles 13.5 kg of Batteries

As part of the environmental initiative “Your Charge”, implemented with the support of the Bishkek City Hall, employees of JSC Dos-Kredobank collected and safely disposed of various types of batteries (AA, AAA, and 9V). The total weight of recycled batteries amounted to 13.5 kg.

Why is this important?

One discarded battery can pollute:

• 20 m² of soil
• 400 liters of water
• And release toxic substances into the air

Thanks to this campaign, we prevented:

• 23 kg of CO₂-equivalent emissions
• Pollution of 270 m² of soil
• Contamination of 5,400 liters of water

“This initiative is part of our ESG strategy. We plan to make battery collection a regular practice in all bank branches,” said Asel Omoeva, Director of the ESG Department.
