GCF “Green Climate Fund” launches a Technical Assistance project for OJSC “Dos-Credobank”

 “Dos-Credobank” OJSC (Doscredobank) is proud to announce the launch of the GCF Technical Assistance project for Dos-Credobank OJSC within the framework of the DCB Green program. To this end, a meeting of representatives of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), experts, and stakeholders was organized in March with the team of Dos-Credobank to formally launch this initiative.

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is the largest global fund created to help combat climate change, focusing its activities on the effective implementation of the foundations of sustainable development of communities.

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is mandated to support developing countries in raising and implementing their ambitions in the field of nationally determined contribution (NDC) towards reducing emissions and building climate resilience.

In the course of the negotiations, the parties defined the work plan of the project implementation, and the expected outcome of the work, where, among other issues, they discussed the plan agreed with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Technical Supervision of the KR, the National Bank of the KR the plan to hold introductory training sessions for stakeholders represented by representatives of MNRETS, NBKR and other participants of the financial sector of the country.

The Bank's DCB Green program is aimed at introducing and launching environmentally friendly technologies in various regions of Kyrgyzstan. For the past few years, the Bank has consistently implemented projects in the area of concessional financing of environmental transport, "green" construction and energy-efficient buildings, organic agriculture, biodiversity conservation as a tangible contribution to environmental protection, compliance with high social standards, and long-term development of the country.
